I own this river
Diamonds dancing on her light belong to me
The sun sets because I am here to see
A soft breeze whispers to my memory
In this place the Lord hath made
The best things in life are free

I wrote this poem in my head at Point Park, in Carrollton, KY, at the confluence of the mighty Kentucky and Ohio Rivers. It is one of the prettiest places in my world.
