Garrison Keillor,
Since May, I have been trying to get tickets to the July 07 show in Virginia. Every (well, almost every) Saturday at 6:00 PM, I make the wife and kids sit down with me and we listen to the entire show. We live way in the country. Usually, the radio signal is not that good. We have to strain to hear the show at times. So going to the big city and seeing it live was a grand idea. I have been told by everyone that it is sold out and we are not important engough find that small group of tickets I know are floating out there. So, since it is most doubtful that George Bush would show up and listen to you make fun of him again, I was wondering if we could buy 5 tickets for the Presidential box. If you could see the plaintive faces of our children, you would know what a heartfelt plea this is. Alex Long, along@infi.net
- Alex Long
