I will check on the relatives in Mpls. and see if we can all get together for a few meals while we are there. We need kumla. Mange Takke, Your daughter, Karen
- Karen Strot
Garrison Keillor,
Years ago, when both of my parents were living, I regularly sent them taped copies of Prarie Home Companion. At the time they were missionaries in Japan. My brother, Walter, was the principal of an international school in Hiroshima at the time and shared the broadcasts with my parents. In fact, upon leaving Japan he relocated to Minneapolis-St. Paul with his family and currently teaches at Hamline University. I believe that your commentaries on above average children and Lutherans motivated this Presbyterian missionary kid to consider becoming a Lutheran. I know that it motivated his move north. Best wishes for continued success. John Enloe Sevierville, Tennessee
- John Enloe

Danielle L.,
Dearest Danielle, We are proud that you plan to take care of your traffic fines out of your allowance. The police officer sounded so upset when he called to tell us he had decided not to arrest you, even though he had to chase you speeding around the block through right turns and left turns about a half of a mile before you pulled the car over and switched seats with Brittany. He mentioned your clean record and how polite you were; he never mentioned that he was 'on foot' the whole time he was chasing you - Here's a little advise from your parents, if you go to court about these tickets- don't remind him. If at all possible please remember to follow ALL of the traffic laws. PS. Congratulations on getting your learner's permit. With prayers for your safety,Love Mom and Pop
