To: CORRECTION-Lindsay Whalen
CORRECTION, I sent a greeting congratulating Minnesota native daughter and former Golden Gopher Lindsay Whalen for Jan. 1 show. Pls. note that in b-ball game against Lady Gamecocks, she achieved her record-setting 2,000 pts. in scoring not 1,000 pts. during this game. Pls. correct. I blush with embarrassment. It's been a long holiday, sorry for the number mix-up. Still a "Whalen" fan in South Carolina

To: Lindsay Whalen
Congratulations to Minnesota's own daughter and '04 Star-Tribune's Sportsperson of Year, Lindsay Whalen. We were watching when you scored no. 1,000 against our South Carolina Lady Gamecocks, led the Lady Gophers to '04 NCAA Final Four and dazzled us w/your rookie season in WNBA. Keep up the great work. Minn., thanks for sharing a great talent! Fans in Carolina.
