To: Right Slipper
I miss you. I hope that someday, Bob will realize you are tucked away under the bed behind the bowling shoes you have never worn. Its been months since I have seen you. I miss the days of frolicking in the kitchen. I miss playing with the dog. I especially remember that cold winter of 2012, when we doubled up and went out with Wool Socks to get the mail. The memories. You were all covered in snow, but were smiling from heel to toe. Then we warmed up next to the fire all night. I never in my life imagined we would be separated. We are made for each other, and each day I await your return. with Love Left Slipper
—S. Athelli

To: Laurie
When I said I would take you anywhere you wanted to celebrate your birthday, little did I know that meant St. Paul in January. Happy 50th to my wonderful wife!
