Mr. Bergy--fish that got away--hole in the ice not big
enough. Car stuck in ditch. Christmas decorations
falling apart, were repaired but came back looking
gaudy. Bergy hasn't spoken to brother in 25 years.
Pastor delivering Christmas baskets, hears nothing but
complaints; thank God Norwegian bachelor farmers don't
propagate. Pastor thinks of Florida, but it would
ultimately be disappointing, like Christmas. Pastor
finds Bergy in a ditch. Bergy's brother plays "Silent
Night" by the mailbox. Mr. Bergy listens from inside
his house. We come as close as we can, that's all
we can do.
