Saturday, January 27, 2001

(GK: Garrison Keillor, TR: Tim Russell, SS: Sue Scott, TK: Tom Keith)

…and brought to you by Mama's --- cocktail lounge and day care center ---- downtown St. Paul.

TR (KID): Where we going, Mom?

SS: Shut up. You go in there, I go in here.

TR (KID): But what wrong, Mom?

SS: Lots. Go in there. (DOOR SHUT)

GK: Sometimes mama needs a little time to herself and when she does, she heads for Mama's.

TR (BARTENDER): Hey, how's it going?

SS: Terrible. I don't know who invented peewee hockey, Joe, but if I ever get my hands on the guy, I'll croak him. Had to take Sean to 6 am practice then go pick him up at 7:30 and take Kevin to a game at 10:30 and wait there----- you ever watch ten little kids scuffle around on the ice for an hour ---- it's almost as bad as watching soccer.

TR (BARTENDER): You got kids in soccer?

SS: Don't get me started, Joe. Gimme a pigfoot and a bottle of beer.

TR (BARTENDER): Coming up.

GK: That's Mama's ---- cocktail lounge and day care ---- downtown St. Paul.

SS: Don't get me started. (MUSIC OFF)
