December night, the year's almost gone,
Time to press my suit and put my new shoes on,
Going to the Knights of Columbus hall,
Baby, we'll have a ball until Niagara Falls.

Saturday night, a night to cherish,
The sweethearts dance at St. Stanislaus Parish,
Powder your nose, baby, say a novena,
And we'll glide across the floor to the concertina.
