American Plumbing Foundation TR: This is Earl Guntzel from the American Plumbing Foundation,
with a tip on common courtesy. Your plumber is a guest in your home, there
at your invitation to do important work without which you'd have to go
squat down in the bushes. Don't laugh at plumbers behind their backs.
Okay, maybe when he crouches down, his pants do slide down so you can
see the Great Divide. What gives? You think you don't have a crack? You
want your plumber to show up in a housedress? Plumbers are human, just
like you, and they have a right to be proud of their bodies. Including
their backside décolletage. So the next time your plumber bends
over, instead of a snide remark, give him a thumb's up. A word from the
American Plumbing Foundation. © Garrison Keillor 2002 |
