December 10, 2005 Here at Prairie Home Companion, we like to bring a little taste of Minnesota wherever we go. So this week, as temperatures plummet and snow falls in New York, we'll be packing extra parkas for our special guests, perhaps the finest traditional Celtic ensemble in the world, The Boys of the Lough. Also on the show, The Hopeful Gospel Quartet will huddle close and fine tune their caroling repertoire, and sitting in with the Guy's All-Star Shoe Band, the always charming Andy Stein. And, of course, The Royal Academy of Radio Acting will do its best to make eggnog come out of your nose. Join us this Saturday, from the Town Hall in New York.
