November 10, 2007 This week on A Prairie Home Companion, the cast and crew are back from the staff retreat, the clocks are all set to the right time, and we're taking the big traveling show on a short trip across the Mississippi for two weeks at the historic State Theater in downtown Minneapolis. Ricky Skaggs and his Kentucky Thunder roll in from Nashville with neatly manicured bluegrass on their minds. Family act The Whites fresh off a new album with Mr. Skaggs will be with us as well. And we'll also have the astonishing voice of Ms. Jearlyn Steele joining us, giving the host valuable tips on his Gospel singing. Also with us, The Royal Academy of Radio Acting; Sue Scott, Tim Russell and Tom "Cellar Dweller" Keith, The Guy's All-Star Shoe Band with Rich Dworsky, and The News From Lake Wobegon. Join us this week for a post-Halloween, pre-Thanksgiving live broadcast. Listen to the show Requires Adobe Flash plug-in. See how to listen. RealAudio |
