This week on A Prairie Home Companion, we spend Easter weekend on the Great Isthmus of the Northwest for a broadcast performance from the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington. With British born singer-songwriter and Glockenspiel virtuoso Nellie McKay, Seattleite Brandi Carlile and her band, and 1930s-flavored vocal duo, The Henriettas. Also with us, naturalist Jeff Adams, the Guy's All-Star Shoe Band; Rich Dworsky, Pat Donohue, Gary Raynor, and Peter Johnson, the Royal Academy of Radio Actors; Sue Scott, Tim Russell, and Fred Newman, and the latest News from Lake Wobegon.

With songs and tunes from jazz pianist Butch Thompson, mandolin maestro Peter Ostroushko, Dakota Dave Hull and the first house band, The Powdermilk Biscuit Band (Adam Granger, Bob Douglas and Mary DuShane).
