Springtime Splendor

This week on A Prairie Home Companion, we continue to enjoy the splendor of spring in the city with singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle, vocalist Heather Masse, pianist Rob Fisher, and a bevy of stage and screen actors, including Kristin Chenoweth, Debra Monk, David Garrison, and Kate Beahen. Our sound-effects man, Fred Newman, continues to perfect the sound of tulips popping up and the mating calls of migratory waterfowl flying over Central Park on their way to the Hamptons, and the other Royal Academy of Radio Actors; Tim Russell and Sue Scott and The Guy's All-Star Shoe Band are rested and ready for another big show at the Town Hall, this week.
