With songs and tunes from jazz pianist Butch Thompson, mandolin maestro Peter Ostroushko, Dakota Dave Hull and the first house band, The Powdermilk Biscuit Band (Adam Granger, Bob Douglas and Mary DuShane).

The Fitzgerald Theater

The Fitzgerald Theater was purchased in 1981 to provide a home base for A Prairie Home Companion. The theater was built in 1910 as a Shubert vaudeville house and in 1933 was renamed the World Theater to reflect its international film programming. As the 100th birthday of F. Scott Fitzgerald approached, Garrison Keillor led an effort to commemorate Fitzgerald's life which included renaming the theater in his honor in 1994.
