Garrison Keillor

Garrison Keillor is the recipient of Grammy, ACE, and George Foster Peabody awards, and he has been inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

His books include Lake Wobegon Days, The Book of Guys, Lake Wobegon Summer 1956, 77 Love Sonnets, Pilgrims: A Wobegon Romance, and Good Poems: American Places, a third volume of poetry selected by Keillor.

Fred Newman

Sound-effects man Fred Newman is an actor, writer, musician, and sound designer for film and TV.

He is author of the book (and CD/CD-ROM) MouthSounds. Fred admits that, growing up, he was unceremoniously removed from several classrooms, "once by my bottom lip."
