Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Late Show

Tickets for the live broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion from the Overture Center sold out quickly. In appreciation, Garrison has asked us to put on another show.
Garrison, The Guy's All-Star Shoe Band, sound effects man Fred Newman, and special guests will return to the Overture Hall stage at 9:00 pm. They will offer a full-length show featuring Garrison's favorite musical selections, comedy, and "The News from Lake Wobegon." Come see what Garrison and friends can do when they don't have to get "off the air" by 6:58:40 pm Central Time!

Lovingly selected from the earliest archives of A Prairie Home Companion, this heirloom collection represents the music from earliest years of the now legendary show: 1974–1976. With songs and tunes from jazz pianist Butch Thompson, mandolin maestro Peter Ostroushko, Dakota Dave Hull and the first house band, The Powdermilk Biscuit Band (Adam Granger, Bob Douglas and Mary DuShane).
